phpBB is too slow and has security issues

first thing is either ur server is too slow or has a useless mysql server which can't handle too many queries at a time

phpBB is the worst of all forums i know and can never handle traffic
I've been working on php since 2002 and believe phpBB still lags in this area

Invisionboard, XMB are much better
recent upgradation of http://forums.xmbforum.com is free to download and i'm sure there's a migration tool from phpbb-xmb

phpbb is easy to crack and vulnerable when has some traffic
also this forum keeps logging me out when i jump thru topics

i try from same browser on other sites having phpBB but they never kick
think on it or you might lose traffic when ur board grows more in future and phpBB suddenly dies

Vamsee I havnet had any problems that were not related to my personal computer

i was talking about security loopholes in phpBB
and also this webserver (dunno where there're hosting this domain) is too slow and unable to handle multiple sql queries

i think its a problem with mysql server

check this forum

its so fast and your posts are immediately displayed rather than a silly message in between asking you to wait to be redirected to post page

hello Vamsee,
thanks for ur suggestions... as Vishwas said we are looking at different options. everything costs money and time... so kindly appreciate our efforts. if u dont have anything positive to say , its better not to say anything at all. it feels better when u say "xx cud b improved" instead of saying this doesnt work and that doesnt happen.

i only say when it can be done easily
the link i referred to is another forum run by my friend and i converted it for free in 10 minutes

i've given that link as an example. by deleting it u showed ur insecurity and foolishness

kindly control ur tongue. there are issues and u need to find ways to solve them... not keep rubbing them in. this is another warning to u to mind ur language, as i have been getting serious complaints from other some members. we are not in this forum to fight or argue...so pls follow forum etiquette.
