When people hear you, but you aren't even there

This has happened so many times at my house. I will hear my dad calling my name, when he really hadn't. Mostly this happens with me though, my family members will hear me or think they catch a glimpse of me walking by the doorway. My dad said he has even heard me singing before, when *I* wasn't even home.


What is this exactly? And why does this happen? Does anyone know? :) I find it extremely intriguing.Thanks for reading all!

Empathy is being in tune when someone is not physically present.
