cold remedies

Post by mj22769 » Sat Jun 07, 2008 11:56 pm

I swear by a combo of echinacea and zinc.  Neither one alone works for me but in combo they reduce my symptoms drastically and shorten my cold to just 4-5 days instead of 2 weeks.  I take the combo 3 times a day.

At night I drink a hot toddy. I make mine a little different than most---I use honey chamomile tea as a base. Then put in a tbls of whiskey. Honey to taste. and a squeeze of lemon. I hate whiskey but it's fine this way and makes me feel better.
