Nonunion

I have a question.  I recently almost severd my right ring finger at work.  Dump trucks just don't like me.  Any way where the bone was shattered and broken away from the rest of my finger is not healing back to the rest of my finger.  I was wondering if there was anything else I could do to promote the healing.  The orthopedic surgeon has me using a bone stimulator.  If this don't work he wants to do a bone graph and if that don't work he may want to amputate the tip of my finger.  I refuse to have my finger amputated.  
     Anybody have any ideas for me
