Guru in Kuja’s Nawamse

Post by ranger » Fri Dec 10, 2010 9:22 am

hi everyone ,
I have come across terms like Guru in Kuja’s Nawamse. Now I know that  for  trishamsha this same terminology is used ex: and we calculate  house cup (lagna cup) or chandras position in the house
for odd signs
kuja 5
shani 5
guru 8
budha 7
sukra 5 => total 30 degrees
for even signs
sukra 5
budha 7
guru 8
shani 5
kuja 5 = > 30
And we say lagna  In gurus trishamsha etc.

So my question is does this same method used for D9, D10 etc. If not how are they calculted?
Thanks

Ok Got the answer Guru In Kuja Nawamsa means simply Guru is placed in D9 chart in one of  Kuja Houses ie: Mesha or Scorpio
D9 = 30/9 = 3 20’ each
Mesha starts Mesha upto Danu
Wishaba Start with Makara upto Kanya
Mithuna starts with Thula upto Mithuna

Ex: if Guru is placed in 4 th in D9(Makara) then we know Guru is in Mesha or in Kuja nawasha same way it applys to
other charts
Derrkana
Mesha starts Mesha Next count 5 => Sinha  Next Danu (each 10 Degrees)
Wrushamba start Wrushamba Next count 5 => Kanya  Next Makara
Mithuna starts Mithuna Next count 5 => Thula  Next Kumba
...
...
...
For Sapthamsa
Mesha starts Mesha Next count 2=> Wushamba  Next 2 Mituna… upto Tula (each 4 17 08Degrees)
Wishaba start Wuchhika Next count 2 => Danu  Next count 2.... Wishaba
Mithuna starts Mituna Next 2 =>kataka  Next Sinha...danu
...
...
etc

Anybody has any better explanation
