Tithis...

Hi everybody,
Seems like the discussions have dried up all of a sudden...

Anyways, I was speaking to somebody yesterday, and he mentioned a certain trait about people born on saptami shukla tithi(thats me)...

this is when i realised that this is one of those things that i've been overlooking for yrs now, simply cuz i cudn't find answers and also because there was lots of other material available readily to grasp at the time. So, somehow this got forgotten...

Right, so honestly speaking I haven't got a clue about this...
So, I request the folks to tell us ignorant souls more about how we should use tithis in studying a chart....

Also, It wud be great if somebody could discuss about other similar things like karan, Rashi paya, nadi, janam yogas, etc...these are the things found on the first page of a horoscope, or in a software under the heading of panchanga details..If anybody wants to share their experience or knowledge on any of these...they can always start a new topic...but lets talk abt tithis now.

Tithis and Paksha is the Hindi dates and everyone not having full details about tithis,there are Ekam,Dwitiya,Tritiya,Chaturthi etc. are like,one two three four,and in Hindi time calculation there are two time one tithi make present,like Shukl Paksha,and second is Krishan Paksha,we can make the day of tithi by udit tithi,means when Sun rise the tithi,make full day calculation.

Namaskaar Sahil,
you may have seen the links by now,

From what i have learnt
Vara lord (weekday lord) has a important say in health matters.
Tithi lord (lord of the soli- lunar day) has a lot say in Married life as also childrens.
Nakshatra lord (as per Vimshottari scheme)has a great say in the judgement of Longevity.
Yoga lord i have not been taught.
Karana lord is also something i have no clue about.

These panchanga effects sometimes override natal chart influence.

i downloaded the pdf file but couldn't get to read it till now...
and it was amazing, the interconnections and the way every thing was explained was brilliant...parampara i guess...

anyways, back to tithis...
i've still got my doubts, and its not just tithis, its also the other panch-angas , viz. Day, Nakshtra, Tithi, Yoga and Karana...
I've doubts as to how to use them while reading a chart. I am sure they can't be just reserved for muhurta.
I knew somebody who gave a lot of importance to the janam yoga and tithi and would come up with predictions solely based on them...

I'm hoping someone would be able to throw some light on this issue.
