If i make 2 charts with same data, one vedic and other western, should planets be in same houses?

The same data will produce 2 different charts as Almanacs used for Vedic Astrology and Western Astrology are different...

You will get charts with very different Planetary Positions...

I ask because i got my planets moved +1 house in vedic charts.
western and vedic astrology have quite similar interpretations of planets in houses, i got contradictory readings.
So i dont know which horoscope to believe.

You have just run into the most intriguing aspect of astrology that made me sit up decades ago to the realization that Astrology is NOT entirely a technical discipline or a scientific one that many of its priests and followers make it out to be!

I know I am not making many friends with that statement, but I hope I am losing some enemies at the same time!

What is your birthdata (Date, time, place of birth and two events with full dates which might be a challenge given your young age!) and I will try to help.

city and country please since atlases vary (strange, ain't it?) and an event with full date please. Birth of a sibling, a major illness or accident or death in family -- that sort of thing.
