In a group that I frequent, they often discuss photographs and technical stuff about those, including post-processing and all sorts of what-if scenarios, had light been such, had exposure been so, had the blue-channel could be suppressed with the red and green reversed or ISO lower, etc etc. Recently, a photo of a street-beggar was being discussed with such gusto and attention. The poor fellow received much less attention and care when alive in flesh, but posthumously!

Reminded me of modern jyotish forums (present company excepted, of course).
