hi guys! i'm new and i thought this thread was very interesting because i never knew my moon sign. can somebody explain to me my rising sign, sun sign (already know what it is), and my moon sign??
I was born in Washington state,Magnolia at 6:00am on august 6th.

Cibba is right.  Sol is who we are and Luna is how we feel.

The Solar Sign is the Sign Sol was occupying at the date of your birth, the Lunar Sign is the Sign she was occupying during the date of your birth, and the Ascendant (Rising Sign) is the Sign wherein the Eastern horizon was located at the time of your birth.

Your Solar Sign is Leo, but you knew that.  Your Lunar Sign is Aquarius.  If you're sure that your birthtime is 6:00am, then your Ascendant is also in Leo.  The Ascendant degree is about right in the middle of the Sign, so you have plenty of wiggle room (about a half hour either way) to be wrong and still be within the same Rising Sign.

thanks senshi, your japanese? i'm half japanese xD. but about my ascendant sign i'm kind of curious, is there any significants if i was born in the middle of leo ascendant? i know that most people believe that the earlier your born into ur rising sign the stronger it is so does it mean that if i'm in the middle it's less stronger? or it's more balanced? or is it considered weaker? is there any significants if i'm in the middle or just considered weaker? i'm just a little foggy on that thanks to anybody that would like to help me out a bit

There are divisons of the Signs called 'decans'.  Every ten degrees has a 'tint' of another Sign of the same element.  Leo's decans are Leo for the first ten degrees, Sagittarius for the second set of ten degrees, and Aries for the last set of ten degrees.  So, with your Ascendant in the middle of Leo, you're in the Leo/Sagitarrius section which means that you look like a Leo, but with a tad of Sagittarius thrown in there.

I'm not on my desktop or I'd copy the description of this Ascendant.  I think I'll do that when I get back from school today.  *nod nod*  *makes note*

edit: wait are you talking about the sun sign decan because i know a little about that. i was talking about the rising sign, since i was born in the middle of the time leo is ascending 6:00 are there decanates for rising signs also? if so i would be a double leo/sag for both sun sign and rising sign o.O
