Pluto transiting Moon- (My Mom died!)

Post by AriesJupiter » Wed Apr 07, 2010 10:55 am

My mom died when Pluto hit my moon to the EXACT minute (no joke!!!)

My natal Moon is 26.35' Sagittarius and my Mom died literally when transiting Pluto was at 26.35' Sagittarius!!

She died in a random house fire.

Has anyone else experienced a similar happening?

Please share!

Thank you!

No one else has had anything happen related to a transit to their natal planets? Nothing?

Am sorry to hear about your mother passing. There is NO 'death' formula or signature, for example my father died in 1997 when pluto was conj my MC at the same time Transiting Pluto was conjunct my mother's sun sign.

What happens with the 'outers' because they can be quite long range espec pluto it goes backwards (retrogrades) and forwards for upto 2years. Now for 'timings' I always look for the retrograde hit and a quicker moving planet like mars or mercury to act as 'trigger' or ignition key...

My sincere sympathies with regard to your mom!

Pluto is the planet of changes (usually big ones), but while the death of a mother CAN be one reading for Pluto transiting your natal moon, that is FAR from the usual reading.  My mother is also deceased (in '97), but Pluto was not crossing my natal moon.

Having a "literal" reading of such a conjunction is not typical, but is certainly possible.  When Saturn crossed my Pisces ascendant, I broke my ankle by slipping on ice.  That would be a somewhat "literal" reading of that transit.  Pisces (ruling) feet, the ascendant (the physical person) and Saturn crossing it (ruling bones).  But IME with astrology for about 15 years now, that was atypical, not typical.  Transits can manifest in a variety of ways, albeit not in ALL ways.  E.g., there's a limited range of possibility (contra the nay-sayers), but within that, various manifestations.  This is why, while I do pay attention to transits, I take them as "general atmosphere" rather than predicting specifics. :-)

Transits
I use--- 1' approaching, 1' exact and 1' departing. If you click on the link listed below for the online ephemeris it will list all planets at any given time. Learning astrology is like learning a new ‘language’ and obviously the more effort you put into something the more your knowledge and understanding will increase. All transits act as ‘background’ influences through a house, until it makes a mathematical aspect to a planet inside or an Angle.

For 'timings' I would look to the retrograde hit as the most important trigger, then look to see what the quicker planets are doing especially mars & mercury --

astro.com has fee six month transit forecast plus when you get into Extended chart selection, look at the three tabs after calculating a chart under ‘method’ default is circular wheels (on left), middle is special charts and in their you get graphic ephemeris 1yr (or 5years) with natal = transits for 1yr and lots more. BUT you first must learn or memorise the 'glyphs' ie: shorthand for recognising what these maps/graphics mean.

For example when you post or reply to a chart the 'smilies' to the right and just under them [more] if you click on there it will bring up a whole loads of 'glyphs'  Mercury  Uranus  conjunction (+or - 8')  trine aspect 120'  Libra

Now it's more important to focus on transits from Jupiter to Pluto (poss mars as this is the ignition key)and these planets when aspecting something in your natal chart 'set off' the difficult or nice 'aspects - potential - problems' that your chart expresses. By that I mean if a benefic planet like Jupiter hits/touches/transits your venus, mars or uranus these could be experienced very pleasantly. BUT if your natal venus is afflicted, or badly aspected say conj saturn then jupiter will not has such a good effect. It all depends on how the natal planet is 'aspected'

For me I would say external 'events' must be seen by transits, progressions or Solar arcs to Angles ie: Asc/Desc & MC/IC most other times these events are 'internal, psychological matters as in between the ears'

Not sure but an astrologer told me that in 2001-2002 that Pluto was transiting my sun 4 times in an 18 month period meaning I either had a lot of karma to burn off or someone up there really doesn't like me lol. Incidentally it was the worst period of my life except perhaps for the last few months. I'm not sure if Pluto is active now though but my birthday is December 4th, 1983. My astrologer suggested I shouldn't have to worry about any major Pluto transits for the rest of my life. I certainly hope that's true!

Transits ALWAYS trigger things.
