Hiyas! I am looking at someone's chart, and I noticed that two of the ruling planets in the fire grand trine are in retrograde...does this means he has problems making things happen?

Guessing .  Maybe he thought the future of the Mayan
Calendar setting on premise the noted heat problem :
"Fire and Heat" noted as end of calendar 2012 A.D. om
will not be the problem with summation of heat and the
ecology may prevail with wind and water instead . . . . .

It's my guess about the modern calendar and Fire Trine .

could be.  

usually it (Grand Trine) means the native has an innate talent to be lazy.  LOL.

retrograde planets tend to  internalise there energies before expressing them. It's very common for outer planets ie: Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto. It's more important and personal if the retro is mercury, mars and venus, jupiter. So two out of three retro can suggest an internal flow of these energies.
