Screen colour scheme

I run search, but no luck.

I picked up green colour, but still all is purple.
What I did wrong?

To make sure I logged out and logged back in, but no change.
I checked preferences, says - green, displays - purple.

the default color is purple now since we have had this customized.

I understand that default bit, but don't understand why is still purple when it allows me to pick other colours.
If time permits, will try other colours, maybe only green is not available. (I know purple is)

J, I am sorry, due to some error on the board, we have disabled colour changes for everyone. If the colour has to be changed it has to be set by the Admins.  We will try to make all the other colours available to the members as soon as possible. I apologise for any problem you have had on the forum right now. Thank you.

Most appreciate, and sorry to cause trouble.
I am not too fussed about colours, it just what happens with people when they have choice.
