Just a note, if anyone is interested I'm working on a aid to help people use self hypnosis and they can be custom tailored to suit you.

As a Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, I suggest a crediable school for serious study. On the other hand, for simple sefl hypnosis (which is very effective when applied correctly) you can learn the basics from several good books that are out there. I have taught workshops for quite sometime and can make some suggestions for anyone wanting to learn the basics.

But PLEASE ignore the countless ads on the internet with regards to learning hypnosis for seduction or controlong thoughts. It is all BOGUS...................Hypnosis Does Not Work That Way.

where to start

HMI at hypnosis.edu used to offer a free online course, hypnosis 101 type.
I don't know if they still do.  Even in just learning the basice through that course a lot of myths about hypnosis were dispelled.  I gained a lot of valuable information there.  As stated before, there are so mnay books on the market even a hypnosis for Dummies now.  There's plenty of information out there, it's just the wading through and confirming what you find that is time consuming.

hello everyone.
I have posted an easy and simple method for doing self hypnosis.
This method is based on a technique developed by Betty Ericson. She was the wife of Milton Erickson.  Like him she was a wonderful hypnotist.
I sent this technique today to Blue Angel.  You can have a look at it and try it for yourself.  Enjoy the experience.
