Easy.

It usually comes down to game selection.  If you want to play a game that is only available on one platform, then that is often the better one.  My son loves the Armored Core series which is only on Playstation, so that's his favorite.  A peer of his is into Halo, so that requires the X-Box, and he finds that one is best.  

For me, best system ever is easy:

Perfection.

omg, i have armored core and I played it about 20 times through, i loved it so much. I could only find the original version, the others...i just could never find.

Gamestop.

Chain of stores in New England (at least, may be nationwide) that sell the Armored Core game series for the PS/2.  Look in the used section, you can usually find a title or two there.  I think Armored Core Last Raven was the last one sold.  There is a nice online community at http://www.armoredcoreonline.com that is the source for so much in the AC universe.

There is no gameshops here in my place, but I have used PS 2 a few times, it sucks when compared to X-box 360. Hope to get my hands on one this birthday, Pray for me guys, that I get enough money to buy one.

I sell electronic stuff so most of the time know the quality of the product better than the company ppl itself, & I can say Sony sucks in majority of the prodcuts they make today, I bet PS3 will be a super-flop.
