Which pet would go best with each sign?

more animals for each sign-- no dogs or cats listed
Aries-- a boa constrictor
Taurus-- an african bullfrog
Gemini-- chinchillas
Cancer-- a strawberry hermit crab
Leo-- a koi
Virgo-- cinnamon love birds
Libra-- a pair of White's tree frogs
Scorpio-- a tarantula
Sagittarius-- seahorses
Capricorn-- silver dollar fish
Aquarius-- an electric eel or an oscar
Pieces-- a candy cane shrimp

I can only speak for this Scorpio (me!) but tarantulas don't do it for me. I'd take a dog before a tarantula (I love cats, and just don't like dogs, no offense to the many dog lovers in M-B and the world). I think I read somewhere that the average person swallows something like 30 spiders in the course of their live (when they sleep, the spiders are drawn to the dark and moist environment of the human mouth/throat). I guess I can live with that (unless I decide to encase myself in mesh at bedtime), but at least we're talking wee spiders and not big ones:
