Yes, Swetha was 100% accurate.  Scorpios and cats!  Definitely a great pair!  Every Scorpio I know in the R/W is a cat lover except my ex-wife but she hated the cat because the cat liked me ;)

I can only speak for this Scorpio (me!) but tarantulas don't do it for me.  I'd take a dog before a tarantula (I love cats, and just don't like dogs, no offense to the many dog lovers in M-B and the world).  I think I read somewhere that the average person swallows something like 30 spiders in the course of their live (when they sleep, the spiders are drawn to the dark and moist environment of the human mouth/throat).  I guess I can live with that (unless I decide to encase myself in mesh at bedtime), but at least we're talking wee spiders and not big ones:
