Welcome debra!!! Hope you have a great time here! debra2739 wrote:I am thinking that it might be frustrating to see a newbie on the board with no intro, but the Intro section wasn't working, so here I am! Hellooooo...
Swetha, what is happening? Are you ok? Is it a medical issue? Keeping you in my prayers. :)
I'm thinking I miss everyone here. I'm not here enough though.

I know what you mean. I thought after high school, it would be ok. You know what? Do you cook? Do you like movies? Have some people over to your house on the weekends. Throw together some appetizers, maybe even a few "naughty" ones that include butter or frying......serve some wine or beer or anything simple....show a good movie, but make sure there's lots to talk about the movie. Don't just make it a movie theater experience. Play games. People say they don't like that, but they do. It's a great icebreaker. If you don't cook, have a potluck or order in. Food is an underrated factor in social events these days. :smt002 Sometimes you really have to "make" your friends in that they don't even know how much fun the simplest pleasures can be. :smt004 If none of that works, just go out! Nothing better than getting lost in a Dionysian evening of fun, right? :smt003 If you put out that energy, the right friends will come to you. soul_flower wrote:Hmm i need company...Some new friends perhaps....Friday and saturday nights are sooooooooo boring!

Ivy - Hey thats a great idea, never thought of doing that....But sometimes its difficult as i have a child and yeah but i can make it work.....Just have to take the next step and FIND new friends coz im so damn shy.....But looking into going out for a night,i really need some adult time.....Will have to work a little to get this, figure out how i can make it run smooth,ah but the results will be great.
Really nice day, going for a walk soon...Yay,still cold but i love it.
