A Woman's Poem

He didn't like the curry
And he didn't like my cake.
He said my biscuits were too hard...
Not like his mother used to make.

I didn't prepare the coffee right
He didn't like the stew,
I didn't mend his socks
The way his mother used to do.

I pondered for an answer
I was looking for a clue.
Isn't there anything I could do
To match his mothers shoe.

Then I smiled as I saw light
One thing I could definitely do
I turned around and slapped him tight...
Like his mother used to !!!!!

it is really a very lovely poem swetha.every wife wants to like their husband's mother.how much you try and how much you do still you will not be appreciated..i think the last one is the one that every wife can do and can be like their mother.i donot think that male will appreciate this?what do you think?

yes, all the mama's boys deserve it. i think anybody who indulges in comparison to demean someone, deserves the tightest slap.

the point is they dont mean to demean... it just comes "naturally" to them the moment they look at their mommies!
