The situation I am in is that I am feeling stuck. For every two steps forward I feel I go 3 steps back. I need some happiness right about now.

Please expound some more on this stuck feeling.

Being stuck is a very uncomfortable feeling for me. There is no real happiness that I can pull in even though I have a lot to be happy about. I feel I am not doing what I should be doing but do not know what direction I need to go in. I had a massive heart attack in 2003 and recovered totally to the amazement of my physician. This changed me on several levels and I need to move on but don't know how.

What do you love the most and go after that? How old are you by the way. Are you able to come and go as you please and go where ever you want to with out having a spanish inquizition of sorts. Do your parents mentally abuse you? Threaten to take away your food. Try to guilt trip you into doing things and then fuss at you because you didnt do it to their standards. I am more stuck than you are. I want my ssi and I want it now so I can get out of a very very abusive situation. Dad asked Ma to look over the papers and her reply was when does she (meaning me) have time to do things for us. The reason I dont do anything for her is because her standards are to damn high. So I asked Pa if she had to look over them. He said yes she does because she might remember something you didnt and to not get my innards in an uproar. And here is the kicker. I am 35 years old with a laundry list of disablities and all I want is my freedom. Consider yourself blessed if you have yours. I feel cursed here for now.

I am 48 years old. My life is relatively good on the outside but it is the internal grumbling I can't seem to relieve myself from. There is this intense feeling that I need to do something and it all will be perfectly clear. For now, I continue on seeking my own path to enlightenment.

Only you can figure what that is and not a pyschic. You will in due time. See how much better your life is compaired to mine. The only one on any side of my family that know what is going on with me and my parents is one cousin the one cousin I plan to move near once I get my ssi.

I will have to ponder the water thing. I am land locked up here in Texas but miss the ocean. I used to live in Southern California on the coast.

I can't see that happening. I am quite content with my location now. This is a magical house. When we first looked at it we had no even gone to where the bedrooms were and told the realtor we would buy it. It was amazing.
