I am wondering if this fear stems from your love towards your spouse that you do not wish for the divorce to take place or if this is a social taboo that you cannot be seen having been divorced in the society you live in?
If it is the former, I am very sad to hear it and without knowing much about your circumstances with your spouse, whether his love has ceased towards you and in which case it is a sad story indeed and not much can be done about it.
