Will I have children?

Post by morenita » Fri Jun 26, 2009 12:28 pm

And if yes, how many? The ruler of my 5th house is Mars and my Mars is in Capricorn... This is bad for fertility I think... But my Moon is in Cancer and that's good, right?

If you could please take a look at my natal chart I'd be grateful!! Thanks!

You are correct 5th house describes children and mars rules aries and mars is placed in 2nd house, exalted in the sign of Capricorn.

8th house is sex and conception though and you have venus and moon in Equal house system which I teach and lecture on, both of these being feminine planets.

Natal astrology cannot answer such questions, you may like to consider asking a 'horary question' as astrology can answer this.  :smt003

Thank you very much for your answer!! I will make a little "research" on horary astrology, because I don't really know what it is! :-)

Mars, the ruler of your 5th house, is sextiled by Jupiter in Pisces, which I think would be good for fertility even though Mars is in a sign not favoring having many children.

I hope this sextile helps things!! Astrologer50 suggested that I should look where the asteroid Child is in my chart. It is in Pisces, 17 degree, conjucting my Jupiter. Is this good? I suppose it is, as Jupiter is the planet of expansion and it is in a Water sign, but I'm not sure, because I am totally unfamiliar with this asteroid's meaning. Could someone explain it to me?

hello morenita

There is no actual denial in your chart even though mars may be placed in capricorn (only a few degrees short of being actually exalted).

Something shows that you will receive the most problems relating to the 7th house . Please look up the seventh house meanings.

If you are married (or in a relationship), this year would then be important and birth of a child may be predicted.

Some problems are indicated in your 4th house but jupiter there is helping you somehow, or maybe some one is taking your side.

Actually what your mars placement shows is that you may have children but at a late age. Your first partner may be cancerian or his ascendant may be .

Investigative work or a job in the armed forces / police suits you. Anyways you are just 23 why are you so worried about having children??

You will have children but again in a late age .

Study up venus placement by sign and house and you may get some idea on what to expect.

bye for now

Unfortunately, there is no set formula or signature for marriage or childbirth, although others may disagree, apparently horary and vedic seem confident in this area. There are indicators and potential as there would be with natal, solar return chart but guarantees -- (post 2 & 3 below)
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/sh ... post207744

Your chart is a blueprint of your personality, facets and penchants and the whole chart is 'potential' for development. There is nothing guaranteed or fatalistic in charts, I do believe we still do have free will. I also believe we chose our parents and childhood circumstances best suited to learning those Lessons in the best way we can.

I think it's worth bearing in mind that the natal chart, like solar returns is all about 'potential' but as we all know we don't always fulfil that potential do we.

It's like someone saying you can predict death, but with modern medicine and sciences the way they are and the potential to 'die' three times in a life, doesn't mean to say you will does it

I think lots of people have unrealistic expectations about what astrology can and can't do. astrology is an 'art, science and craft' and not clairvoyance either. If there were a formula or signature, don't you think we would ALL be using it?

Predicting marriage and/or having children can be done, but it is not easy, time consuming and intricate. There are lots of things to take into consideration like, secondary progressions, what inter-aspects one chart makes to another, Solar arcs, Solar returns, Transits etc

The point being is to see if any natal planets is in same degree ie: 3'5" taurus would be same as 3'5" in ANY fixed sign and is considered conjunct. Then a passing transit, progressions or even solar arc could activate this midpoint. All depends if it's the benefic Jupiter, venus etc or malifics saturn, uranus, neptune, pluto

Where in a chart does a person see himself
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/sh ... post157562

What most books don’t tell you is that the Seventh House rules the First marriage. If there is another marriage, it is shown by the Ninth House. How about a third marriage? A description of your third marriage (if any) is found in your Eleventh House. You see how this works? Start with the 7th House as the 1st marriage and go counterclockwise around the wheel, skipping every other house, to see all other marriages. Some people (like Elizabeth Taylor who has eight marriages) have to go completely around the wheel!
