Sorry I typed your name wrong when I addressed you.

You were born on Oct 7th 1949 when the Daylight Savings/Summer time was prevalent. This means 06.13 a.m.was Mountain Standard Summertime; when the time is advanced by an hour.
If this was so then it would stand corrected to 5.13 a.m.

Do confirm.

After researching I have confirmed that daylight savings time was not in effect on the date and time I was born.  I was born:
6:13AM Mountain Standard Time.

Summer/daylght saving time was mostly in operation till mid Oct/early November in your country.

How have you confirmed that it is not.

Do understand that Vedic astrology is not a phychic science exactly. It is based on scientific and mathematical principles.

Therefor assuming a wrong time on hearsay or otherwise would only lead to wrong predictions, and people would ridicule it more.

Do send the source of confirmation.

On my birth certificate it says time of birth as 6.13AM.  From reading the following article on the section about daylight savings time:  http://www.llrx.com/features/time.htm
I believe it was not daylight savings time.

I have gone through your links well, but it does not say anything decisive about 7Oct 1949 not being in the Summer time area.

In fact Summer times in your city/Country ceased to exist in the later part of Oct/ Early Nov.

And Yes, you do realize it is important to be accurate. But we must realize that a diiference of time of hour can lead to most to all predictions going astray!!

Do realise that it is important, and also that Vedic Astrology is not a Psychic thing in Western terms, but is very dependant on Mathematics, like logic is.

Below is a copy of a previous post.
I have done research on daylight saving time in Utah for 1949.
Everything I have read tells me it was not in effect in 1949.
Also I asked my father if it was in effect at that time time.
He told me it was not.  Do you have enough information that you could give me a reading now.
