Judgement - Reversed

Major Arcana

This is a period of stagnation. You may fear failure and thus try to delay it by taking no decisions. Your health may not be too good. You may also develop a fear towards death. You also suffer from a feeling of guilt for your actions.

Judgement reversed may indicate to us that we have not heard the call to rise to a different level of understanding, we may acknowledge that a change is needed but somehow are unable to take the necessary steps to bring it about.  This indicates to us that our growth has reached a standstill and the result is stagnation. Do we not answer that call because we are afraid or just lack the willpower to take the action needed.

Therefore this card can also reflect in its reversed position a regret for opportunities lost, delays in achieving what we desire or just an obstinacy to not admit to ourselves what we need do, therefore we resist transformation.

What does this translate into in every day life, well it could say you resist change, avoid decisions or abandon anything that may threaten your old and comfortable ways. You could experience delays through missing opportunities. The psychological one is that you somehow miss the chance to understand yourself and life better, and by not recognising your own duality you cannot create that inner harmony but remain at odds with yourself.
