Hello everyone, in the past I have used software to do readings but want to learn how to read the cards on my own.  I have a very strong intuition and other abilities, but the tarot just stumps me for some reason.  I am looking forward to learning with everyone.

I bought a deck of cards on day, but I'm not exactly sure what the name of it is.  It has very similar pictures as the RW deck of cards just more picturesque to it.  If anyone knows, it would be appreciated.

where do i start

Post by viroscan » Sat Dec 30, 2006 4:00 am

hello samantha  :)  im just wondering where do i start for this school. i do have experiance in divination and am quite intuitive. also got a good grasp of symbology and the implications of symbols etc.... / the main goal for me is to use my books as mere guidelines and not for direct interpitations {i want to memorize}. i feel it robs alot of the intuition and turns into logic when you read it outloud for people. other than that i am a novice in tarot but have a great hankerin for esoteric research.

i'm sure you've notice that this board as been too quite, i'm sure for most of us that is because of the hoildays.  Right now we no longer have a teacher  :smt010  so we all are working our way through it until they can get a new one as best as we can.  there is a lot of great and helpful stuff posted already and i'm sure those of us that are here will help the best we can.   :smt003

I have a dozen sets or so.... I'm a collector. I consider myself alright.... I could use a lot more help though! I would love to get to know the different meanings and how they read into each other according to what spot they fall in.
