The Fool:  
New opportunities,  thoughtlessness,  risk,  rashness (done without considering the possible results),  Vulnerability (exposed to being attacked or harmed).  Stepping outside one's comfort zone.  Momentous (very important) decision. Look before you leap!

The Magician:
Originality,  insight,  creativity,  self confidence,  dexterity (ability to do things skillfully),  sleight (tricks use by cunning’s to deceive people).  Ability to grant one's own wishes.  Power wisely used.  Success,  intelligence, use of the will power.  Use the resources available to you,  and your intentions will succeed.

The High Priestess:
Cogitating (consider carefully and deeply),  learning,  purity,  virtue (high moral standards),  occult knowledge & psychic impressions.  Wise counsel.  Guidance from a higher Source.  Advice from an intuitive person.

The Empress:
Action,  development,  accomplishment,  mother/sister/wife, evolution, luxury. Comfort and safety. Maternal qualities such as generosity, caring, compassion, protection and healing.

The Emperor:
Accomplishment, leadership, order.  Father/brother/husband,  achievement, a capable person.  Power maintained through rigid control.  If so one must either play by the rules or leave the situation.

The Hierophant:
A need to conform, social approval, bonded to the conventions of society Mercy, kindness, forgiveness, compassion, conformity, a sense of historical importance, inspiration. Hierarchy. Conventional chain-of-command. Authority figure who judges, as well as leads. Traditional religious leadership. Look within, rather than to external authority, for answers.

The Lovers:
Love, harmony, trust, honor, the beginning of a romance, optimism, a meaningful relationship/affair,  Lover’s attraction. Desires.  A choice between a higher union and a lower one.  Partnerships, alliances, bonds of mutual benefit or affection.

The Chariot:
A rushed decision, vengeance, Triumph. Victory through focused effort. Success. Determination, wit and zeal win out over all opposition. Harness all faculties, in order to attain the desired goal.

Strength:
Firm opinion,  energy,  action, heroism, virility, Passion. The instinctual nature. Taming of primal energies. Making friends with one's "animal" nature. Strong drives and emotions. One's natural faculties are a source of strength.

The Hermit:
Musing (absorbed in calm lengthy intent consideration), inner strength, patience, withdrawal, annulment, a loner,  Solitude. Wisdom gained through long experience. One who stands apart from the crowd. Guidance from a higher Source or more experienced person.

The Wheel of Fortune:
End of a problem, unexpected events for good, advancement, progress, Luck. Chance works in one's favor. Outside factors improve the situation, bringing new or better options. Make the most of what Fortune offers, but do not expect to get by on luck alone.
