Time prediction

I have always wondered how some Tarot readers get such specific time predictions.  Does anyone have a method that they find useful?  There is another thread on this in the Tarot forum: http://mysticboard.org/vi ... hp?t=17786

Gem suggests a method, but I wonder which cards in a spread you use as the time cards.

I thought I'd ask here since this is the "learning" forum and I didn't get much response in the other forum.  I hope that is okay.
