My poor family :(
I was never close with my grandmother on my moms side, and my grandfather died years before I was born. Instead my great aunt and uncle were more of family to me then she was. The last several years have been very hard on them.
Fist my uncle got some wierd disease that killed off all of the nerves in his upper body, a disease the mayo clinic had only seen 2 other times ever. He has trouble breathing because the nerves died, and they only grow back about an inch or so a year. On top of that he got diabetes.
Then their son was in a horrifing car crash. He was thought dead numerous times, but lived. He needs constant care, is basically disabled for life from it. (He was thrown from the vehicle and his head was pinned under the tire and it twisted down the road.)
My aunt threw out her back and ruptured a disk with all the lifting and such she had to do for them.
They are in the process of loosing their farm, because my uncle couldn't work and they had to get rid of most of their income sources. (My uncle was the guy who never missed a day of work, and never called in sick)
Now on top of all of that, my uncle was just diagnosed with prostrate cancer. If it has travelled outside of the prostrate, they say the outlook is bad. His only chance is if it is just in his prostrate, and even then it depends on the treatment.
So please, all of you that can spare it, send light and love and healing to them. They are good people, the kind that are always there for someone if they need it, reagardless of how well they know them!
Thank you,
Love,
~Toni

They got the results early, and are breathing a little easier. It is contained in the prostate still, and he has started treatment. They said in a few months they will freeze the prostate out and hopefully that will work. Thank you for all your well wishes!!! I hope it all goes well!
