In great need of good thoughts....

Hi! I am in need of positive thoughts to help myself and my family become whole again. All my life it seems I have been taking detours that lead me off the right path. My husband and I have had our fair share of mistakes and wrong choices. We are trying to make things right again and keep them right this time. Our main battles have been with drug use. Although we have been overcoming most of the urges these last few years, we have slipped occaisionally. I do believe we are now at that moment when we finally have that master resolve and determination to kick it for good... I am sure we can finally close this chapter in our lives by ourselves, but I believe positive thoughts and light sent our way would be a great help. Anyway, I have thought long and hard on this, and writing this out has actually helped quite a bit! I wish everyone light and love!

I couldn't do without an abundance of pot at one stage of my life: I smoked myself almost to a standstill. Then one day I decided that I'm bigger than this thing. I keep some around and use it to control pain when needed: I have a smoke maybe once in six months when my back plays up, but that's it.
The only way to beat anything is to make the decision that it is not going to affect you ever again. Then stay with it ... and remeber, even though we have never met, you still have at least one friend (and some others too on this site) out here.
You can do anything you want if you just decide to do it.

Thank You!!!! This last weekend has been so much easiier to get through.... We are moving back to my parents so that we may have our children with us until we can resolve our situation with CPS... Our children have hope again and seeing their eyes light up that when we told them we weren't going to be separated much longer was wonderful. I let my older ones read your replies.... I am hoping that all your good thoughts and well wishes are with me tomorrow!!!! I have an "assement"  of my mental state with CPS. Normally That would not bother me.... the investigator for my case is what or who gives me concern... She seems to be ok as a person, just not very understanding or able  to connect or associate with struggles or hardships.

She has been lucky to not have been hit by these hard throughout her young life, (sse's in her early twenties, has by her own admission stated she has had no real struggle financially yet)

I will envision your positive energy combined with mine as an aura of strength,

I wish you lots of good fortune and hope your psych review goes well.  I am sure if you are honest and she writes her report in a fair manner you will be fine.  You cannot punish someone for having a mental health condition, its not a crime.
