Mind good body falling apart

Post by Tinker » Sun Jul 22, 2007 6:56 am

:) Hello,
Im a thirty eight single parent, and for the first time in years, I feel I am on the right path....however my body doesn't seem to be coping to well.
I've suffered from a serious eye infection which means I can no longer wear contact lenses(every know again it flares up and ive been on steroids for months....then there's my foot/feet cant walk more than five mins without serious pain and aching...and finally my belly ring that ive had for six years has started to go or bad on me :smt017 .
I've been told its all due to me changing...but I cant help thinking im falling apart.

would love to hear from anyone who could put my mind at rest and tell me that its just a blip im going through?

Love and sunshine

A big Grandpa hug to you....it's very sad when we start to get problems with our body functions.
The one you tell about your feet is the worst one....because if you allow yourself to sit still in order to prevent hurt...you only get worse.

It's important today to supply yourself with vitamins, minerals and other antioxidants  because our food are much more "destroyed true processing  then before, and even our soil don't have the time to regenerate before next harvest.

Get your feet examined by an "foot specialist", it might be due to your foots curve (I had such thing...it was bad for my feet and for my spine)
This is fixed by new shoes or by building material.

So my advice must be...if not medical issues prevent you from walking, bite your teeth and take a trip....it makes good for your whole body and it will slowly get you back in shape.

Another big hug....look for anything positive....and good luck :)

:smt006 Hi I don't think your falling apart probably run down eye infections/belly bar infection --you have already seen a doctor so boosting your vitamin C intake with oranges Carnot do any harm
Your feet i would suggest you get them checked by a doctor- but could fallen arches be the cause- you could try orthopedic insoles they build  false arches in the insole that you slip into your shoes giving great support for tired aching feet

Ive been to an osteopath who suggested i use inserts for my shoes so ive purchased two new pairs of shoes with them already in...I am over weight so ive starting to cut out chocolate and go up the gym

Oh tinker, it is a blip you are going through ::big hugs:: It stinks for us women, once we hit 35 our bodies start betraying us and go through cycles where they continue to betray us!! I personally am looking forward to menopause and the chin hairs that accompany it!  ::chuckles::

I'm sorry about the eye infection. I take it you used the bausch and laumb.   I hope you are using a good doctor... if not find another one. I will ask my sister in-law how long it takes normally to heal when I speak with her and what the doctors in her office are doing to help those who had this misfortune.

As for your tootsies, do you have plantar warts or even bunions? I've heard either of those are terribly painful. I hope you have seen a podiatrist or an orthopedist (one of my friends feet were hurting, it turned out her knee was the cause - new special shoes helped) and make sure you give your feet some attention with Epsom salt soaks, maybe even go for a weekly pedicure where they do the hot rocks and are certified to do the reflexology to help ease your discomfort.

Belly rings... Is your body rejecting it and pushing it out? Or is it just getting infected? I have only had two problems in the last 9 years. One was when it got caught in my pants and was pulled on which irritated the heck out of it. And the other was it just got infected and it was because I was stressed out. I know most place tell you to use Dial soap to clean it out. Dial has a lot of perfumes which will irritate it.  I used Lever 2000 when I had it done, and when I had both problems. It's an anti-bacterial soap without the heavy perfumes to cause irritation's. Hot water soaks to extract the lymph and help it heal. Make sure your belly ring isn't directly under your waist band because that can cause an irritation as will highly acidic foods since the acid in foods do interact with metals in or on your person. Make sure you clean it every day in the shower, that means running the ring up and down or around so soaps get in there and water is able to rinse it all out. Also, You could try a different type of metal, titanium, surgical steel, gold and silver.  If you are buying your rings at places like Mandee's  G&G, Fashion Bug, Claire's, in essence cheap stores you are buying a cheap metal coated in something that is plated with gold, silver or steel.

Hope that was helpful and again BIG HUGS to you... it gets better...

Hello Angelique,
Thank you for your reply. I have been to the doctors today and ive had a blood test done to make sure everything is ok.
Ive had my belly ring in for a least 6 years so theres no reason why it should flare up now( although maybe i am run down and thats why things are flagging up) I have got a good doctor but i do think they look at my situation and put it down to S T R E S S... ........My eye infection has been treated by my local hospital and at one point i was seeing them every week so i think ive been looked after there...
Yes i do think it could be a sign of old age :smt010  but i hoping that maybe my life will begin at 40 :smt002 giggle, giggle

bye for now

I hope your tests come out fine!

I know this isn't the joke forum, but something that will cheer you up and give you a giggle. It's the story about The Knob:

The Knob

A woman in her forties went to a plastic surgeon for a face-lift. The surgeon told her about a new procedure called "The Knob" where a small knob is placed on the top of a woman's head and can be turned to tighten the skin and produce the effect of a face lift.

Of course the woman wanted "The Knob".

Over the course of years, the woman kept tightening The Knob and the effects were wonderful. The woman remained young-looking and vibrant.
After fifteen years however, the woman returned to the surgeon and said "All these years, everything has been working just fine. I've had to turn the knob many times and I've always loved the results. But now, I've developed two annoying problems.

First, I have these terrible bags under my eyes and the knob won't get rid of them ...."

The doctor looked at her closely and said, "Those aren't bags, Those are your breasts."

"Well," she said, "I guess there's no point in asking about the
goatee."
