Thank you.  Some days are more challenging than others.  She is 78 now.
She has aged a lot this year.
Thank you for the hugs and understanding.

A big hug both to you and your mother, and also to all who feel the need for one :)

To have parents in high age can need a lot of energies for all parts, but even if we many times can struggle to manage it all, I have always felt that I would not have been without it...Boy are the time flying....it's not that long since I ran around in short trousers and had no problems at all :)

Thank you dear dear Rhutobello.
Yes, the challenge is here and pulls in so many directions.  Some in my life just don't understand.
I so appreciate your words and your sentiment and your caring.

Thank you all.
Mother is 78.  She has really started aging.  Physically it is showing. She has always been a control person, fairly negative, never exercised, has had a heart attack and she knows she is not going to keep her mind.
It is just becoming a challenge.  She listens to men better than women, so I have never had a great deal of validity for her.
I so appreciate your energy.  I have been feeling it.  I love her tons and don't want to see her suffer, which she is starting to do.
I know it is up to her and her Spirit.
Thank you again. ImageImage

:smt056 Many hugs to you both.

I know about this through both my grannies: if she is suffering because of wanting to be in control, then she might feel better when her head goes a little. It sounds awful, but my gran was happy again and smiling after oh-so-many years of struggle, even if it meant more of a job for her caretakers, of course.

I hope things go the best way possible for you both  :smt052

Thank you everyone.

I have heard that some people as they age and loose some of their abilities, mellow out.  I don't know if she will.  I hope she can keep her mind as long as possible.  She has a good mind and is very bright.  She is in my terms, a Crone, a wise woman.  She has given a lot to her community and to her industry.  As her daughter, it isn't always easy with a mother who is active the way she is and has the kind of personality she does.  As she is aging it is more difficult.  Ah.  I know I have choosen this and have put myself in this position.  I just don't want her to suffer in the pain she has been feeling and from the fears she has for her future.
I love her.

I accept all the statements and love you have been sharing.  Each is made with care and concern and love.
They are greatly appreciated.
Thank you thank you.

Hello

Dear Dara,

I wish you and your mother good health. Since I read the post I tried to visualise what was the problem with your mother and actually I got something else. Probably and this is what I felt, she has digestion problems and because of this it has affected her heart i.e. the Gastric Problem. Does she have problems with her knees -- I mean rheumatic pain?

Well My hugs to your mother and you too.

Pravin Kumar
