Oh I love a rock fresh from the beach I'll take it home with me and then next time I go back I return with it and put it back and 'borrow' another that has the energy and beauty of the ocean within....so lovely!
I cant really tell what they are? The first thing that comes to mind is agate but I really dont know. Gems here some where I think she'll have a better idea....

ooh could be a zillion things, its so hard to identify from a picture. The first reminds me of red jasper but could be anything like agate. The second looks like moss agate, but sounds more like a feldspar or quartz/jasper mix. Have you tried doing any scratch tests on them to find out the hardness? Do they look different in water? Are they glassy or waxy? What do they feel like?
What is the colour of the beach sand they were found on? What are the cliffs, rocks boulders like? You can search the geology of the area and see what you are likely to have come up with too![:)](./images/smilies/001.gif)
Can't beat pebble collecting![:)](./images/smilies/001.gif)

They look like they might contain some copper of maybe Zinc oxides?
I'm just not able to tell that Much but I'ce seen oxidised zinc and copper before.
