The Moonlit Girl...

Post by EnemyNumeroUno » Tue Jan 01, 2008 10:14 pm

I watch from a brief glimpse
As she poses my teeth clinch
From frozen moments in time
Where we take the open sentiment of rhyme
And absorb
The captivation and sense the essence of time
She writes letters
Sometimes a message in rhyme
To who
Who knows
I stare awkwardly as she poses in the morning
With blue robes on
Roses and mourning
Accompany the strange posture of
Her quietly kept atmosphere
I foster with care
This blind love I hold within for her
Watching for hours from my porch
As she lights strong cigars
The smokes mirage
This hazy eyed figure dances in the dusk of dawn
As I clutch the strong essences
Of presences
For it is always a suburban waste
To see this beautiful virgin embrace
Sometimes I ponder, even intensely
Wonder how her bourbon taste,
Her beauty is kept quiet
With a magnetic aura
That encompasses her entrancing dance
Through the dim moonlit canopies
As odd as it sounds
This blood I feel for her is strong
Not a façade but pounds
Of skin that holds blood
Couldn’t express metaphorically
The love is feel
Her skin soft and pale
As this man becomes frail
Each day posesses the deep enrichment of homecooked meals
But could never relate
To the significant prayer of an odyssey
Held from a grimly lit mentality branded by despair…
