अध्याय  121.  स्मरण में एकान्तता-दुःख

स्मरण मात्र से दे सके, अक्षय परमानन्द ।

सो तो मधु से काम है, बढ़ कर मधुर अमन्द ॥

दुख-नाशक उसका स्मरण, जिससे है निज प्रेम ।

जो सुखदायक ही रहा, किसी हाल में प्रेम ॥

छींका ही मैं चाहती, छींक गयी दब साथ ।

स्मरण किया ही चाहते, भूल गये क्या नाथ ॥

उनके दिल में क्या रहा, मेरा भी आवास ।

मेरे दिल में, ओह, है, उनका सदा निवास ॥

निज दिल से मुझको हटा, कर पहरे का साज़ ।

मेरे दिल आते सदा, आती क्या नहिं लाज ॥

मिलन-दिवस की, प्रिय सहित, स्मृति से हूँ सप्राण ।

उस स्मृति के बिन किस तरह, रह सकती सप्राण ॥

मुझे ज्ञात नहिं भूलना, हृदय जलाती याद ।

भूलूँगी मैं भी अगर, जाने क्या हो बाद ॥

कितनी ही स्मृति मैं करूँ, होते नहिं नाराज़ ।

करते हैं प्रिय नाथ तो, इतना बड़ा लिहाज़ ॥

‘भिन्न न हम’, जिसने कहा, उसकी निर्दय बान ।

सोच सोच चलते बने, मेरे ये प्रिय प्राण ॥

बिछुड़ गये संबद्ध रह, जो मेरे प्रिय कांत ।

जब तक देख न लें नयन, डूब न, जय जय चांद ॥



अध्याय 122. स्वप्नावस्था का वर्णन

प्रियतम का जो दूत बन, आया स्वप्नाकार ।

उसका मैं कैसे करूँ, युग्य अतिथि-सत्कार ॥

यदि सुन मेरी प्रार्थना, दृग हों निद्रावान ।

दुख सह बचने की कथा, प्रिय से कहूँ बखान ॥

जाग्रत रहने पर कृपा, करते नहीं सुजान ।

दर्शन देते स्वप्न में, तब तो रखती प्राण ॥

जाग्रति में करते नहीं, नाथ कृपा कर योग ।

खोज स्वप्न ने ला दिया, सो उसमें सुख-भोग ॥

आँखों में जब तक रहे, जाग्रति में सुख-भोग ।

सपने में भी सुख रहा, जब तक दर्शन-योग ॥

यदि न रहे यह जागरण, तो मेरे प्रिय नाथ ।

जो आते हैं स्वप्न में, छोड़ न जावें साथ ॥

कृपा न कर जागरण में, निष्ठुर रहे सुजन ।

पीड़ित करते किसलिये, मुझे स्वप्न में प्राण ॥

गले लगाते नींद में, पर जब पडती जाग ।

तब दिल के अन्दर सुजन, झट जाते हैं भाग ॥

जाग्रति में अप्राप्त को, कोसेंगी वे वाम ।

जिनके प्रिय ने स्वप्न में, मिल न दिया आराम ॥

यों कहते प्रिय का मुझे, जाग्रति में नहिं योग ।

सपने में ना देखते, क्या इस पुर के लोग ॥



अध्याय 123.संध्या दर्शन से

तेरी, सांझ, चिरायु हो, तू नहिं संध्याकाल ।

ब्याह हुओं की जान तू, लेता अन्तिम काल ।

तेरी, सांझ, चिरायु हो, तू निष्प्रभ विभ्रान्त ।

मेरे प्रिय के सम निठुर, है क्या तेरा कान्त ॥

कंपित संध्या निष्प्रभा, मुझको बना विरक्त ।

आती है देती मुझे, पीड़ा अति ही सख्त ॥

वध करने के स्थान में, ज्यों आते जल्लाद ।

त्यों आती है सांझ भी, जब रहते नहिं नाथ ॥

मैंने क्या कुछ कर दिया, प्रात: का उपकार ।

वैसे तो क्या कर दिया, संध्या का उपकार ॥

पीड़ित करना सांझ का, तब था मुझे न ज्ञात ।

गये नहीं थे बिछुड़कर, जब मेरे प्रिय नाथ ॥

काम-रोग तो सुबह को, पा कर कली-लिवास ।

दिन भर मुकुलित, शाम को, पाता पुष्य-विकास ॥

दूत बनी है सांझ का, जो है अनल समान ।

गोप-बाँसुरी है, वही, घातक भी सामान ॥

जब आवेगी सांझ बढ़, करके मति को घूर्ण ।

सारा पुर मति-घूर्ण हो, दुख से होवे चूर्ण ॥

भ्रांतिमती इस सांझ में, अब तक बचती जान ।

धन-ग्राहक का स्मरण कर, चली जायगी जान ॥

              This Tirukkural translations in Hindi are not my own .Let me give the link , there U can find about What   is  Tirukkural and  who is Tiruvalluvar.?  the author of this poems. U can even get the German translations of the same Tirukkural . If there is viewers in German language iam ready to post them all 1330 kurals in German language too,  here. (as I posted all English and Hindi translations now).This Tirukural is translated almost in , most of the languages which are highly known or spoken by the people. I posted all 1330 in English and going to complete its posting in Hindi now.  Let me have the opinions of viewers here. Kindly go through this link, so that  , U  can get an idea of what is Tirukkural ?

thank you for the links. Have to go to london a last time to get my partner back from hospital but i am sure i will have time to see and learn later in the week. Am looking forward to it. Poetry is a great gift and to learn more about in from around the world is a great opportunity.

                 Sorry Santa, in my previous post,  i said I can even post Tirukkural in German, but unfortunately I have Tirukkural in French, Arabic, Malayalam& Kannada ( Indian  languages) only. Thanks for letting me know about your busy schedule, and  out of which , u are finding time for knowing more of poems and poets  around the world.It is my pleasure to call myself , I am your  friend. i am able  to understand the poet in You.

Dear Prasanna,

thanks again for your links. I had time to visit them and without knowing Sujatha or any of his books, films ect i feel sad that he passed away. it is such a shame that so many of the great artists never get the aknowlegment in life that they deserve.
I am curious know as i am a big science fiction and fantasy fan to find his books in english and read.
