I watched your spirit float on high
Above a death camp, neath leaden sky.

I felt your soul being carried away
In puffs of smoke that January day.

I saw the glow, your fiery death
As your body burn't until nothing left.

I watched them take your precious life
With gas and fire my darling wife.

But now I stand within that place
Where fumes will kill because of race.

And when my body has no breath,
I will be yours once more, in death.
