Silence of the Lamb

Post by Ravenmother » Thu Feb 05, 2009 11:49 pm

How quickly the heart grows cold
With many secrets untold
Besotted with pain
That comes down like the rain.
Betrayal sharp as daggers
Every word is a hazard
Pain, denial, and sorrow
On time that’s just borrowed.
Looking for the silver lining
Sheltered from constant prying
No more tears or crying
No longer listening to the lying.
Settled with one quick trip
Slice the skin as not to rip
Now my life blood runs cold
Body numbing to be bold.
Silence of the Lamb.

This is not about the movie. It was about a time in my life. I hope you enjoy.
