A Distant Mother

Post by Crow » Tue Aug 10, 2010 9:45 pm

Without You
Dearest daughter
My world is blue

Downward spiral
Lost within
You are again with him

A man who taunted and teased
Who made my life prior to this
A breeze

He never hurt you
You didn't know
The hurt and marks I didn't show

You love him dearly
And your life is great
I cannot make my heart not ache

For this is what I dread
My daughter gone from my home
An empty spot at the table and empty bed

I try to call
The answer machine comes on
And downward I fall

Deeper the pain
I am not there
Yet I remain

A distant mother
I drempt that I was one of a million pieces only to find myself whole in everything I looked at. Only to re-shatter the memory.
