Looking inward
Moving Forward
Climbing Upward

A chapter ends
And a new one begins

It just sucks to let go

Heart is crying for your return
My love the flames still burn
Madness engulfs the mind
Our words exchange not always kind
It is over I know
But my spirit projects where you go
This confused me to no end
Why did this love affair ever begin
If not me then I release
My lover I hope you find peace
In the end it hung there in the air
Just as you look at me with that blank stare
The love is not enough to mend
The spirit within me would not bend
I followed in spirit where you go
This never made sense I know
Years later I would see with my own eyes
Those things projected through spirit's vision
Confused I thought this a sign of destiny
I know now that this didn't come free
I cry over this endless heart break
I'm not the one and now I my heart does ache
I loved you many a lives and now I bid thee farewell

Lost within the maze of shattered thought
I forgot that which was bought
Sanity within a pill
Yesterday arrived the bill
I am crazy I know
For those things I do not show
Sanity for me is reform
Back to the days of boring norm
I was free in thought in the craze
My wild child solved the maze
Night of my awakening I went mad
I seen that I wasn't that bad
Bought into the free my mind
I forgot what made my spirit so kind
Giving spirit filled with love
Made this spirit float above
In the madness that lasted a year
I seen that my destiny wasn't that clear
Thought that it was already written in stone
I was shown how this spirit has flown
Freer than anything I ever dreamed
Things that were not what it seemed
In that moment of enlightenment I found
That it is the moments of madness that is most profound
Dismissed as a bad canidate for some who find
I just simply lost my mind
Or did I ?
