Thank you for posting this.
Equanimity; meaning calmness and composure, specially in difficult situations.
As a result of reading your poem I have been listening to a podcast of Buddhist teachings about the "Three Aspects of Equanimity", which I downloaded as an MP3 from the following website.
http://dharmawisdom.org/files/Three%20A ... nimity.mp3
The presentation lasts for 42 minutes, and the file size of the MP3 is 38.4 MB.
I found the tutorial to be very balanced and useful in helping me to develop a greater understanding of why equanimity is so essential to us remaining in the present moment, and by so doing gaining true insight.
I would highly recommend it to our members (regardless of your religion, or lack thereof).
Thanks again for your contribution (which was also balanced and useful),
EoT :)
