Thank you  for sharing all of this prasannaji. I love Jagjit Singh and also Chitra Singh.  My favorite is from Your Choice.  I also have a couple other cd's with their music.  Their voices are so wonderful together.
I have a huge gap in Hindustani music.  I started listening about 6 months before Silsila was released.  I worked for Dinesh Bahadur.  He was a music addict.  I have several cassettes from that time.  Then I really started listening again to music in the last year.  I enjoy the music from Dil Se.  Now because of you I get to start researching some of the artists you mentioned.  I'm really excited.
Thank you for sharing.

I love Barbershop quartet music from way back when.

I have to admit that RnB and Hip hop are my favourite type of music although I enjoy all types of music including Classical but I'm not too sure about country and western though LOL, but within hip hop and rnb there is not really anything positive been said and through my research into it there is a lot of subliminals in the music which can't be good for the soul!!!!

My favorites vary on the mood I'm in. Lately I have been listening alot to Zazie, Superbus, Vanessa Paradis but of course I always revert back to metal. Some music however just feels like it's a part of your soul.....or maybe it's just me :D

I have such an appreciation for music. It is difficult to say what I like the most.
My very favorite top 5 artist would have to be.

1. Bob Dylan
2. Conor Oberst & Bright Eyes
3. The Beatles
4. Beirut
5. The Cure

Of course that is at this very moment most will change with time.
and in the love you take, is equal to the love you make.
