Stop Smoking with Ylang Ylang??

Post by weezerwall » Thu Aug 30, 2007 9:12 am

:smt006  Hi Everyone!

YEP - I've decided to "kick the habit"!  :smt041  I read in a post here (Sorry I can't seem to find it again) that Ylang Ylang could be very helpful in this case?

Can anyone tell me "how" to use it? Should I just burn it in my lamp? Or breathe in a few drops?

Can anyone recommend other oils to help me stop smoking?

I'd really appreciate it!! Thanks for your help!

Warmest,
Weezer :)

Weezer go for it!  I used Ylang Ylang and I think it was probably my post you read,? I carried a bottle of the essential oil round with me and when I felt the need for a puff I would get out my little bottle open the lid and breathe the fragrance in deeply, worked every time!!

Good Luck :)

Hi Gem,

THANKS ALOT FOR THE TIP!!  I went back and found your original post.  I bought some Ylang Ylang last Friday and have been "taking whiffs" (instead of puffs) as you suggested.  YOU'RE RIGHT!  It's really helped work wonders!  I've been SMOKE FREE FOR 8 DAYS NOW and that after almost 20 years of smoking!  YIPPEE!!

Blessings,
Weezer  :)

Stop Smoking with Ylang Ylang??

Post by healthmember » Fri Dec 14, 2007 4:08 pm

Sorry I don't know of any formulas for Ylang Ylang to stop smokingBut this formula might be helpful.
Cigarette Habit:  Before breakfast take 1/2 teaspoon each
rochelle salts and cream of tartar; also chew ginseng root and
swallow the juice.
If that don't work try Nicotine Gum this really helped me kick it.

Good Luck

I am going to have to try the Ylang Ylang. I have  been smoking now for 24 years now and was only been able to quite one time for four months. I have tryed everything from the patch to listening to CD's among other things and nothing has helped me to quit again. All four of my children has been wanting me to quit for a while now and I have tried to no avil. I would like to say thank you for the suggestion of using Ylang Ylang so that I will try that.

I am feeling much encouraged to listen from you. I am also a chain smoker and have failed several times to give it up. I thing your article will help me to make my mindset. Thank you.
