Would anyone happen to know of any good Wiccan books for a person starting off??


Am having trouble finding decent books as I don't really know what to look for..

Sure. Wicca A Guide for the Solitary Practitioner by Scott Cunningham is a classic.

The Real Witches' Handbook by Kate West
To Ride a Silver Broomstick by Silver RavenWolf

Some people will call these two 'fluffy bunny' type books, but they were the first two I was given and helped me find what was right for me!

Another I'd recommend is A Witch Alone by Marian Green (perfect for a solo starter).

There's bound to be some I've forgotten (or that are newer and I haven't read).

also don't miss out the autobiography of Ipshita Ray chakraverty - The High Priestess of Wicca and teh book's name is 'Beloved Witch'.

Witchcraft today by Gerald B. Gardner is a good book, and The God of the wiches by Margaret Alice Murray. There is also Wich cult in Western Europe by Margaret Alice Murray too. and  ARADIA, or the Gospel of the Witches by Charles G. Leland.
