fact or fiction

There are theories about all of them - mostly fables - some think that over tired seamen saw mermaids when they were possibly looking at walrus or dolphins - unicorns - horses with the tuffs of hair sticking out or the wind and light making the right glow - dragons - well that could be any of the larger lizards.

We have no documented scientific proof that any of them actually existed - however -  it is difficult to believe that such fables could have started in different parts of the world at different times with different peoples without some basis in fact.

I personally believe in all three, moreso with the dragons and unicorns than the mermaids (no one supposedly ever saw a merman and I would find that hard to deal with if mermaids existed).

It would not be difficult to believe that no scientific or fossil records have been found of such animals - and that assumes that dragons were not an offshoot to dinosaurs.  The fire-breathing - well - that's a bit far fetched, but there breath musta been outrageous.  the unicorns - well they would dissolve fairly quickly - and look how few skeletons (fossil remains) of dinosaurs have been uncovered compared to the multitude that must have been on the planet.

Never give up your dreams - Unicorns - dragons - mermaids - they are as real as you wish to make them.

I completely believe in them, especially mermaids.

There have been sooo many sightings of mythical creatures that it's hard to ignore them, and there's so much land/ocean on earth that remains undiscovered, who know's what/how many creatures, strange or not strange, could be sharing the planet with us.

These creatures are those of Fairy tales and dreams......And thats ok because we all need to dream, and we all wish for a fairy tale ending.

Most probably they are real and really existed here on earth as we believe there are dinosaurs roaming this planet before.

What I can't understand is how come the Tooth fairy is the only one subject to inflation?

no santa has market forces placed on him too.

Not sure kids would be happy with candy canes and wooden toys these days.

She has to pay the VAT tax, import/export fees and is subject to pay for protection/bribes to keep her business a monopoly.

Santa Claus has some leeway, because he employs slaves, what we call "elves" to manufacture toys under conditions that are sometimes called abhorrent. He also outsources jobs to China where 12 years old children do his work. The tiny fingers of 12 year olds are similar to those of elves, but the craftsmanship just is not the same.
