Star Trek for the win thank you! What I liked was the tel-a porter & the holodeck (The Holodeck is my fave tho.)   :smt003

My fave of Star Trek series are Next Gen & Voyager.

Doodles,

It has to be neither I'm afraid; the only sc-fi franchise worth watching is stargate.

I am definitely a Star Wars nerd.  I have been since the first time I saw one of the movies.

I used to watch Star Trek but I can do without it.  I do however love to watch Battlestar Galactica.

I feel like such a nerd right now, it's great.

I see that the two greats Star Trek and Star Wars are neck and neck, 16 to 16

so who is going to vote and make one win?

Normally it would be the 33rd voter who tips the scales in favour of one or the other of these two all time science fiction classics, but since this survey thread effectively has no end (it was started in October 2007), there can also never be an outright winner.

Oh well! :smt102

It is still interesting to hear people's different opinions about this, regardless of there never being the possibility of a clear winner.

Salutations,

With both Star Trek and Star Wars being pitted against each other with new films this year, (least in the UK) I will continue to wonder, personally  expect both to have the same if not very similar fan bases :)  May the Force be with you, Live Long and Prosper!

I have been, and always shall be, your friend.
Mr Spock says this just before he dies at the end of Star Trek II The Wrath Of Khan, after sacrificing himself for his human shipmates.

But do not weep any tears for him as his body is quickly reanimated and resurrected by the atmosphere of the Genesis planet in Star Trek III The Search For Spock.

Sleep well :)

It is amazing how many good sayings come from Star Trek, in that respect it is far different to Star Wars? Perhaps it is the force is strong in this one?
Star Trek had so many innovative ideas and gadgets, It is still interesting to see the old episodes and the pcness of them lol :)
