Perception and reality.

The word "Philosophy" is derived from the Ancient Greek - philosophía (compounded from phílos: friend, or lover and sophía: wisdom). To quote from WikiPedia, "Philosophy is the discipline concerned with the questions of what is the right way to live (ethics), what sorts of things ultimately exist and what are their essential natures (metaphysics), what is to count as genuine knowledge (epistemology), and what are the correct principles of reasoning (logic).

Perception and reality.

Post by Andypants » Sat Feb 23, 2008 1:11 pm

It is like a artwork in a gallery.
There is 1 picture. In which everyone looks and views, comments and admires or dislikes.
Each person see the picture under different lighting, different angles, while resting in different moods and feelings. Each person looks at the picture and has a different perception of it. To each person the reality of the picture is different.
So for each person reality is different, according to there perception.
But it is not reality that changes for each person, but simply there perception.

An artist can view it and say one day while grumpy,
"i do not like this picture, there is to much shading and it appears to dark and gloomy, with only a few points of light focus how can i draw much goodness from this picture?"
then he may come back again in a good mood and say,
"i like this picture, for although there exists much shadows, it is a in great contrast to the few points of light and through the acknowledgment of the spaces where the light does not exist, the places in which the light does exist bring forth exceeding beauty, for they are in direct contrast to the shadow which exists around them. Therefor the darkness is good for it draws the contrast which creates the exceeding beauty in the light, and the light is good for it is light and in light exists beauty.
For if only dark existed there would be nothing, but if only light existed it would not be beautiful for there would be nothing to draw attention to its beauty."

For both opinions, both perspectives exist in the person, but the reality is unchanged, only the perspective.

It is only with time that reality does change, and it is through perspective that future change in time might occur. Through our collective perspective it is us who help paint the picture that is reality. If our perspectives are all doom and gloom, so will the picture be painted in such a way. However if we can all learn to appreciate the beauty that exists in all things, then the picture may be painted to represent that beauty, and all shall find goodness in the viewing of such a picture.

Therefor, in the now, our perspective changes nothing but itself, only the picture exists which is reality. However, through our perspective as an individual and as a group we may help in the painting of the picture, so that tomorrow, the picture may be changed, and there will exist a different reality. However there is still just a single true reality, which is now, and changing every second, the dimension we call time (change), and in it exists the perspective of many.

So how it is we change reality?
You change your perspective in reality (now aka immediately), so that through time a different reality may exist.

What is time?
Time is the rate of change in reality.

What is perception?
The view of reality from a certain point in time/space.

What is reality?
Reality is the point of now. Aka living in the now.
From the point of reality...
We may look to the future, which exists as unexpressed potential.
We may to the past, which exists as expressed potential.

What is awareness?
The result of perception. Once you have perceived something, you become aware of it.
Aka, once you become aware you are addicted to heroin, you are addicted to heroin until you perceive that you are no longer addicted.
Aka By perceiving god, we become aware of god. Hence, if you do not look, you will not find.

Potential of love?
Love is a combination of both the highest and lowest frequencies.
You will notice in physics if you perceive an energy wave it exists only where you perceive it, as you define it and limit it. It collapses into matter.
However if you do not perceive it, it continues to be a wave.
By your perception, you collapse the unexpressed potential (all frequencies) into the particular energy you perceive which is based off your perception which for a majority is based of past judgments and is limiting.
So you collapse the potential into a specific matter, a value which is lessor then love.

How do we experience the greatest potential/perception/reality?
Unconditional love, as we stated earlier, love is a combination of both the highest and lowest frequencies, as unperceived love, it acts as a wave, when the highest and lowest frequencies (red and violet) interact in wave formation, they interact at every chakra as pink (love) with the greatest energy existing in the center (heart). You do not collapse the energy when you do not attempt to judge it, or perceive it, as love is the highest and lowest energy, and all energies exists within love. You must simply acknowledge love to experience it.
Therefor if you live in a state of love, you have the potential that all energies can exist within you.
It is therefor truth to state all frequencies exist in love, as it is the highest and lowest and all in between unless perceived. It is for this God exists in love, as love is the beginning and so it shall be the end, it is what existed before all matter and energy, it is light which embraces the highest and the lowest tones of light, it is not perfection (white) but in it's embrace of imperfection it is above perfection, as it does not simply embrace perfection, it embraces all. By many famous saints we have been told the importance of becoming unconditional love, for once you become unconditional love, all frequencies may exist in you.

Useful application of theory (insightful thinking)

To have and use any and all psychic abilities, one must first bring all energy to the now (reality), and perceive from reality into potential, preferably from a high vibration (love) as it has the greatest potential. To perceive from potential to potential is to incur error, as the potential from the position of reality is always much more accurate.
Hence old judgments cloud the mind, as your looking from an expressed potential into the unexpressed potential. As time changes reality due to the perception of the awareness, therefor looking from the point of expressed potential is like using a Pentium3 when Pentium4 is on the market.

Therefor by this logic, judgment acts as a limiter on a person, because a judgment holds a persons energy in an expressed potential and limits there knowledge on the subject to that which they experienced up until the point of the judgment. It is by releasing judgments that we allow ourselves to carry our awareness through reality intact and experience spiritual growth and increased awareness through additional experience.

Therefor you could say with honesty, in me exists all expressed potential, and as a result of my perception, i control the unexpressed potential which has yet to be expressed until this point. And by coming aware of the unexpressed potential, it then becomes expressed, and by concentration on the expressed potential, it then becomes manifest in matter, which is the perceived potential manifest.

The Big Question.
What would happen if everyone were to perceive from the perspective of love? That's un-collapsed potential btw... Would matter cease to exist?

It's pretty late, 11:11pm to be exact.
