TODAY'S QUOTES

The word "Philosophy" is derived from the Ancient Greek - philosophía (compounded from phílos: friend, or lover and sophía: wisdom). To quote from WikiPedia, "Philosophy is the discipline concerned with the questions of what is the right way to live (ethics), what sorts of things ultimately exist and what are their essential natures (metaphysics), what is to count as genuine knowledge (epistemology), and what are the correct principles of reasoning (logic).

Today's Quote

Worrying about something that may never happen is like paying interest on money you may never borrow.

Love and magic have a great deal in common. They enrich the soul, delight the heart. And they both take practice.

Torbi,

I hate to pay interest and hence left all worries to others.

I hope they buried the worries in a beautiful garden so they become fertilizer for the  wonderful flowers and vegetables.

Always "they"
Action and effort relegated in jyotish to the third house
But must that be confused with the 'third person' in reality too?
Delegation is attractive...
And shifting the *doing*, the verb
To a pronoun third removed always attractive!

This summer shall be different ...
I (first person) shall plant (verb) a garden ...
Full of vegetables, so that my heart be filled with ...
Flowers of creativity as God's bounty fills stomachs and minds
And may this demonstration help the beginning jyotishis
May they get down to the ground and not forage for soul-food in some supermart!

Love, Light, Levity ...

Prem, Prakash, Prashanti!

Dada!

My story is different from yours perhaps!

I began to *take* interest and suddenly it all began coming back to me...
Investment returned in full and then some!
It is *interesting*
Like a cook that has realized that he is hungry no more ...
Might as well keep cooking -- for those that may be or are ...?

Prem, Prakash, Prashanti ...
