Something about Bloodstone
Hey all,
I bought these two stones as Bloodstone. Now, I'm not very sure that they are Bloodstone or not. Could you please help me recognize them? I'm posting the picture of the two stones I bought. Are they Bloodstones? Please help.... Thanks in advance!

Hi, Personally I don't think that either stone looks like or feels like bloodstone. Bloodstone is a green jasper with red iron oxide patches. The first one looks more like plain Red Jasper and the second like an indeterminate agate/jasper.
Bloodstone looks more like these, but then it is possible that your pictures are misleading.
