If the following cookie-tracker is bothering you when accessing YAHOO forums (they say it is not harmful but a PITA because of its nagging nature if you do not accept it, please read the following REMEDIAL (for now!):
***************************************************************************
Yahoo is trying to send me "get-user-id.js" from "ad.yieldmanager.com", and I'm tired of it.
It never stops - unless I go away from Yahoo. So if this doesn't stop pretty soon, I'll switch from Yahoo and never come back.
Too bad, though. I've been a Yahoo promoter since 1999

Adyield-manager and Bluelithium are used to place personalized ads - both use cookies to track your browsing habits, so you may get a different ad displayed than somebody sitting right next to you. Several solutions...
Click tools in your top bar -> click "Internet Options" -> click "Security" tab -> click on "Restricted Sites" -> click "Sites", type in the following two sites:
http://ads.bluelithium.com/
http ://ad.yieldm anager.com/ (please remove the blank spaces, for some odd reason YA is swallowing the correct url)
That should take care of your pop-up and most ads.
Other possibilities...
Download and install the latest Firefox browser:
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all…
Install "adblock plus":
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNvb2SjVj…
Result: no more annoying ads! And pages are loading much quicker too...
