will my brother pass the exam?

Post by decentgal » Wed May 20, 2009 11:47 am

hello everyone

my brother asks about his test on May 17,12:15pm karachi Pakistan.

Guide me with my analysis.

His Asc is 24Leo53.L1 is sun in 26Tau32.
His tenth house  is 23Tau 19.L10 is Ve which is in detriment in 12Ari25.
Moon applies to venus making a hard aspect(45 degrees).

Sun conjuncts his 10th house.
Moon is weak in 26Aq 27.It makes a 45 degrees aspect with Ve.

Sun will make an aspect with Ve when Venus changes its sign(may be then there is an opportunity?)

Since there is no good reception ,i dont see him passing the test.

Yes, you pick up right houses for this question.
His rulers are Su and Moon and for "pass exam" ruler is Ve, because 10th house is "profit" from knowledge (9 house).
Only the major aspects are used in horary - the conjunction, trine, sextile, opposition, square.
As we see, eighter Su or Moon has no applying aspect with Ve, so the answer to his question is "no".

querent is first house ruler Sun and of course Moon.
The exam is third house ruled by Venus.

Moon squares sun
Moons first aspect squares moon
Moons last aspect squares retrograde mercury
Moon applying conjunct ( maleafic ) Mars
Venus in detriment

Things look much more difficult than they appear
( Saturn in first house )

Your brother does not pass the exam.

Ruler of 4th house ( end of the matter ) is Pluto
in Capricorn ( ruled by Saturn = difficulties in this
chart )  and Pluto Rx is in sextile to ( maleafic )
Neptune ( confusion ? ) in 7th house.

Note:- although this is NOT the question - it is
interesting that Venus is ruler of 3rd ( the exam )
and ruler of 10th - reputation  and the examiner -
and mercury is in 10th - Saturn is in first house
in Virgo and Vigo ruled by retrograde mercury
Mercury. Mercury squares Neptune and sextiles
Uranus. Lots going on in this chart and not in
your brothers favour.

do you mean to say in the last paragraph  that results may not be announced or cancelled ?as there are such rumours.

thanks

Hi decentgal,

Well I was really pointing out the way that charts
do supply confirming evidence. That Venus rules the
third ( exam ) and also rules the 10th ( the examiner
as in the "judge" ) there is the additional information
of mercury retrograde which would be a good and appropriate
match for "... the results may not be announced or cancelled"

The thing is this is more of a teaching comment - the last paragraph -
as typically horary is a tightly focused question of peculiar
personal importance to the querant. So extending the question into
this area is more for the asociated ideas. But it does look that
way - that mercury retrograde will cause delay in the exam results.
This form of delay is very often associated with mercury
retrograde.

well the results are not annouced yet and its been 6 months .my brother has given up on this job and he is still jobless and unhappy.
i think Airgon has rightly mentioned about the status of exam results in his last post.
